Behold: All Shall Fear My New Drinking Goblet

So I was out shopping for Christmas presents yesterday and I found my new drinking goblet. Actually, I think it’s one of those floating candle holders… but whatever… I’m repurposing it as my awe inspiring beer and wine holder.

Here’s why:

Do you remember movies like Conan the Destroyer (or Barbarian) where the warriors and warrior kings drink out of these HUGE ass, jewel layered “cups”.

Well, since my New Years Resolution revolves around me continuing to kick ass, I figured I need a goblet MAN enough for my exploits.

But, there’s another reason for this.

Think about one thing… lots of parties going on over the holidays.

And YOU KNOW I’m taking my new “friend” with me when I go.

Here’s how the conversation may go in the crowd:

“Who is that guy over there with that crazy glass talking to everyone in the room. What’s the story on that? Let’s find out…”

Or something to that effect.

So, you’ve got built in curiosity… plus… I’ve got a story about why (my New Year’s Resolution) that has built in value to it… and I increase my notoriety around the people that I do know because I’ve got strangers coming up to talk to me about my glass.

Now, both you and I know that the REAL reason that people are coming up is because they are interested in ME… but need an easy way in.

My prop gives it to them.

Plus, if I want to go talk to someone, I can just walk over and the conversation will most certainly revolve around my glass.

(This applies to both women and men, my friends)

And, if I’m indifferent and ballsy enough, people will say: “Man, I could never rock that thing like that” or “You’re the only person I know that can get away with that”.

Nice.

So there you go, let’s have a goblet challenge… who thinks they’ve got a better drinking glass than this guy?
