I read a quote once that really defines this post… it went a little something like this:

If you can’t be around when I’m at my worst… you don’t deserve to be with me when I’m at my best…

Look, it’s EASY to be around and support people when things are going good… but the good never lasts.

There will eventually be rain… you can count on it

I for one completely feel that there aren’t many people that can compete with me when I’m at my best. And that’s not being cocky at all…

You should feel that way too.

But, my friend, you aren’t going to always be at your best… no matter how hard you try.

You’re gonna go through some hard times… things happen… life happens.

The question is:

Is she the type of person that’s going to be there when it all goes down?

I personally will never get involved with anyone ever again that can’t stand the rain. Think about it… not only are you having to worry about whatever situation you have to take care of… but NOW you have to worry about her too!

It’s not a good situation.

Let me give you a few pointers…

If YOU are the SOLE source of a woman’s happiness… it’s not a good sign. If she’s needy and needs constant validation from you to feel special or loved… again… not a good sign.

If you get the feeling that she’s a gold digger… ditto.

In other words… if a woman can’t be self sufficient… chances are… she can’t stand the rain.

So cut bait while you can… take my word for it.

Hey, and don’t take this as woman bashing… by any means… because I’ve got to tell you… if she can’t stand the rain… she’s gonna cheat when things go wrong.

And that’s just plain dangerous.

I’ve seen it with my own two eyes. A girl will get in a fight with her boyfriend… get drunk… find a guy (usually a “rover”)… and sleep with him.

She might even feel bad in the morning…

Of course, she’ll probably just make be one of those “he shouldn’t have been mean to me” things.

Did you know that most marriages that end in divorce… end because of MONEY… many times because the MAN loses his job somehow?

It’s as if the MAN was defined by his job and the woman has no confidence that things will change back. In other words, once the veil is gone… she really doesn’t like what she sees.

That SUCKS.

Anyway, the first time you get the “inkling” that she can’t stand the rain… it’s time to move on.

Oh, and you can find this stuff out EARLY. Just refer back to the VALIDATION part above.
