Ha… I was listening to some old school Snoop the other day when I thought about writing this for you guys.

You see, I was asked the other day how I took the Adonis Effect and got it on the map so quickly.

Basically, how I took myself from a virtual no name in this arena to player.

Honestly the exact roadmap I used is in my little $7 report, Explode Your Influence. No joke. People love this thing. So you should pick it up. That info has done more for me than just about anything else… seriously.

Okay, so back to the story.

Anyway, I quickly explained that most people view the world as a “dog eat dog” place… which simply isn’t true.

Actually, I’d say its more of a “packs of dogs eat dog or other packs of dogs” world.

In other words, the groups of power players eat everyone elses lunch.

So, in other words again (sheesh), you need to get in with the “pack”.

The only way to do that… is to either create your own pack… or to bring value to another pack so that you can be included.

Here’s are my hard and fast rules for “pack building”:

1. Give first
2. Follow the “don’t mistake kindness for weakness mantra”: Be kind and fair, but be firm when people try to cross the line.
3. Be the screwee rather than the screwer (karma man)
4. Always look out for your “pack” (or your people) whenever you can. Basically, if you see something that can help them or that may hurt them… let them know.

Remember this, and it’s the toughest lesson I’ve ever learned:

Going at it alone is always the worst way. You have no leverage of knowledge, finances, power, networking, etc.

In short… always be building your “pack”… lest you be eaten in the doggy dog world :)
