(Another plot by that heartless bastard… Devil Smile)
I love most guys at the bar… they make it easy for a guy like me.
That’s right… keep on spending your money on drinks and shots in order to “buy” your way into her pants…
Believe me… she KNOWS what you’re doing.
No matter how sly you think you are… she knows why you are buying her drinks.
So keep on sucking up… keep being “nice”…
… but don’t get angry when I guy like me comes along and steals away her attention from you.
I got to witness this action first hand this weekend, and I’ll be honest… I felt a little sorry for the guy.
Here’s the story:
I’m at the bar with a few female friends when I decide that I need to find a bathroom. Now, I’ve never been to this place before so I get wandering around for a minute before I just randomly walk up to a group of women to try to find out where the bathroom actually is.
One of the women has her back to me and I gently touch the back of her elbow as I whisper… “I need to ask you a question”…
She turns around… smiles… and says, “No problem… what’s up?”…
“Nice eyes,” I thought to myself.
I went closer to her ear and said, “I’ve never been here before… where in the hell are the bathrooms…”
She laughed, pointed me in the right direction, and looked like she wanted to continue the conversation…
… until a guy I know (that I hardly ever see) comes up and goes, “Hey… what are you doing with my woman…” in a scared… but trying to be joking kind of way.
I look at her and say, “Wow, you know this guy… that tells me enough (wink)…”
I pat him on the shoulder and tell him I’ll catch up later.
Later on… I go up to the bar to get a drink and who do I see…
… my friend and a few other people including “bathroom girl”.
And he’s trying his damnedest to get her to take shots… which she’s not really having.
He comes up to me and keeps saying, “Man, what do you think… she’s bad right?”
…which means that she was pretty much owning him.
Now, don’t get me wrong… she seemed pretty cool… yet also seemed to get agitated by his apparent “needy” behavior.
I stuck around for a few more minutes… talked and mingled with the friends of the “bathroom girl” as well as the girl herself.
And, I noticed one thing… she was talking to everyone… he was pretty much waiting on her to talk to HIM.
He looked like a sad puppy dog… and even seemed to get a little pissed because he was spending all of his money on a girl… that was barely even paying him attention… and she wasn’t even ASKING for drinks…
Could I have isolated “bathroom girl” away from her group… sure, I feel confident that I could have. However, after observing what was going on with the “friend”, plus the fact that I was there with another group of women… I decided against it.
(Oh, and as an aside… I only bought myself one drink on Saturday night… see the last post for “the bet”)
